I am a lawyer linguist and also the Director of niche market company Avocate Legal and Commercial French Interpreting and Translation Services Ltd based in Manchester, UK. I have Chartered Linguist (Interpreter ) status and interpret in all legal settings both in person and also remotely by phone and by video link by Skype, Teams, Zoom and other platforms.
I also translate legal documents and specialise in the translation of documents related to residential property buying and selling in France.
I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists' Interpreting Division and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Steering Groups.
I also sit on the professional conduct committee of the National Registers of Communication Professionals Working With Deaf and Deaf Blind Persons.
