I'm a former registered nurse with over 25 years' experience in medical translations.

I work for clinical research organisations, pharmaceutical companies, language service providers, and direct clients.* Recent projects include the translation of an informed consent form for a clinical trial on gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours, an article on an infection-prevention checklist for intensive care nurses, and an SmPC for monoclonal antibody therapy in severe uncontrolled asthma. I have a keen interest in medical regulatory affairs and am an advanced certified user of Trados Studio.

In 2023 I translated about 369,000 words from Spanish to English.

I was elected Chair of Mediterranean Editors and Translators in October 2020 and have served on the Governing Council since 2016.
