I have been a Conference Interpreter and Translator since 1991. My experience covers both corporate and institutional work. I have interpreted for members of the Royal Family, including HM The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) and HRH The Prince of Wales (Prince Charles), for many Ministers and politicians including Tony Blair, David Cameron, William Hague, Theresa May and Ed Miliband (and their Italian counterparts), and several international celebrities and Academics such as Professor Stephen Hawking, Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson and Andrea Bocelli.
I interpreted for many meetings of the UK Presidency of the G8 in 2005 and 2013- including Gleneagles and Lough Erne summits - and for the G20 summit in London in 2009.
In 2012 I was a simultaneous and consecutive interpreter for the London Olympic Games.
I work for the Council of Europe, Europol and Eurojust, and have interpreted on several occasions between Italian and British MPs at the House of Commons.
In the legal sector, I interpret for international arbitrations and court cases and translate legal documents such as contracts, proxies, trust deeds, shares agreements, Memorandum of Understandings, birth, marriage and death certificates, and police certificates.
My fields of expertise also include Medicine, Finance, Law, Defence, Aeronautics, Automotive, Energy, Fashion, Cosmetics, Design, Websites, Agriculture and European Works Councils.
I have interpreted for many live TV broadcasts for the BBC, CNN, Sky, RAI and Mediaset, including the election of Pope Benedict XVI on BBC World.
I was a Lecturer at the University of Westminster on its Conference Interpreting Techniques course from 2004 until its closure in 2011.
