Mrs Katarzyna (Kasia) Beresford MITI
I interpret between Polish and English in legal, medical, business and community settings. For written translation I focus on broadly defined literary translation from Polish into English.
I am based in Manchester and have extensive experience of enabling Polish-English communication at face-to-face meetings in and around the North West in a very wide range of scenarios. I have particular expertise in interpreting for personal injury medical assessments, mental health assessments, CBT and other therapies, HR meetings with employees (grievance, disciplinary etc), child protection meetings and legal conferences (my Diploma in Public Service Interpreting specialism was English Law).
I currently also join clients’ chosen online platforms to provide remote video interpreting.
For written translation I focus on broadly defined literary translation, which includes articles, letters, museum display boards, extracts from both fiction and non-fiction books. My most recent book translation is a historical text “Impressions of America” by Konstanty Buszczyński published in Polish in 1922.
