I graduated in French and German from Heriot-Watt University in 1984. I then studied Portuguese Language and Culture at Lisbon University until December 1985. I passed the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in 1992. I have over 12 years' experience in European marketing communications roles in the international IT industry, followed by full-time freelance translation work for over 19 years, specialising in marketing, public relations, general business and IT. I work with SDL Trados Studio 2019 and am certified to Intermediate Level.
