Ms Rachel Waddington MITI

I'm a technical translator with over two decades of experience supporting clients in the renewable energy and railways fields - you can find the books I have translated about wind and solar power (and some other technical subjects) in specialist bookshops and on Amazon.

Above all, my skill is to take complex source texts in German and Dutch and convey them to their intended audience in clear, comprehensible English that reads as if it was written by a human being. I don't do the garbled technospeak that is sadly all too common in translated texts.

And I know my stuff. I have a Bachelor's degree (first class) in Engineering and a postgraduate diploma in Energy Sustainability. This means I actually understand your texts and can ask the right questions to sort out any niggles that would otherwise lead to inaccuracies or clumsy phrasing.

I would love to help you build your reputation as an expert in your field.

If you want to find out more about what I can do for you, get in touch at [email protected] and let’s have a chat.
