Dr Silvina Katz MITI
Silvina Katz is a researcher at the Open University specializing in sensory perception in literature, the role of the senses in creating atmosphere, and the Argentinian short story. She earned her PhD in 2024 with a thesis titled A Sensory Study for the Translation of Atmosphere in Silvina Ocampo's Short Stories. With extensive experience as a Spanish tutor, translator, and interpreter, Silvina has also worked as an associate lecturer at the University of Northampton, where she specialized in Health and Law modules for the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting.
