Scottish Network invites you to its spring workshop:
INCLUSIVE LANGUAGE: The what, why and how with ALICJA TOKARSKA
In this workshop Alicja Tokarska will explain what inclusive language actually is, talk about helpful strategies for different areas (such as gender, race, sexual orientation and more) and languages, and will provide you with sources that can further your knowledge on the subject. We will also explore inclusive language tips for various text types and specialisations. After the break, we will divide into language-specific groups and work on a short translation. This exercise will be a great opportunity to practise inclusive language in different target languages and discuss any doubts with colleagues.
