The Arboretum is an evolving, maturing woodland landscape featuring 25,000 trees and a large collection of over 400 memorials and is a living, growing tribute to those who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces.
Entry to the Arboretum is free, however, we do recommend booking your visit in advance to guarantee entry and save on parking (cars - £6 on the door, or £4 if booked in advance). The grounds are open from 10 am – 5 pm.
We're planning to meet as a group to say 'hello' at 11.30 am in front of the restaurant/café and again at 2.30 pm (although this is flexible - we can change meeting times on the day) also at the café, where we would like to buy members and their families a drink and a piece of cake. If that's not a good reason to join us I don't know what is! Of course, feel free to arrive earlier and stay as long as you like. Please note that only food purchased at the Arboretum can be consumed on-site.
