Who can join the network?

We welcome professional translators and interpreters who work with the Polish-English language pair and are ready to contribute and help create a lively community. The focus of the network is on translation and interpreting in a UK context, but we welcome members based elsewhere and are keen to develop contacts with relevant organisations in Poland.

You do not have to be a member of ITI to join our network, however you do need to be a member (or registrant) who adheres to the code of conduct of a relevant translation and/or interpreting organisation e.g. ITI, CIOL, STP, PSTK, STL etc.

Additionally, we offer student memberships for those currently studying translation or interpreting. We also welcome translators and interpreters who are not members of a professional association to join as non-voting friends of the Network. This allows us to foster a diverse and inclusive community that supports professionals at various stages of their careers.

How much does membership cost?

The annual membership fee is £20 (or 110 PLN) for both regular members and friends, while student members pay a fee of £10 (or 55 PLN) per year.

How can I apply?

Email [email protected] to ask for our application form.

We are open to suggestions and positively encourage member participation. A network is only as good as its members!

When I found out that a new ITI Polish Network was created, I jumped with joy, joined immediately, got involved in some projects and never looked back since – one of the best decisions I have ever made.

One of the many things I love about Polish Network is the opportunity to keep up with Polish culture, especially since travelling to Poland has been impossible in recent years.

Please note: membership of one of our Networks does not constitute membership of ITI.
