Welcome to the homepage of the Information Technology Network.
The Information Technology (‘infotech’ for short) Network is a forum for highly-experienced professional translators and interpreters working from and into a range of languages and specialising in the area broadly covered by the term, ‘Information Technology.’
Their individual specialist knowledge and experience and contact details are set out in their entry in the ITI Online Directory of Translators and Interpreters – www.iti.org.uk
The purpose of the infotech Network is to encourage closer, mutually beneficial links between professional translators and interpreters working in Information Technology. We aim to be a friendly, supportive and professional community and to become a focal point for sharing information within the network.
Infotech Network members can discuss and seek advice from colleagues and exchange information on IT-related issues and terminology, on sources for glossaries and support materials. They can post terminology queries, pass on work and share information on work providers.
You do not need to be a member of ITI to join our network, however you do need to subscribe to ITI’s Code of Conduct or that of a comparable organisation (eg CIoL).
Membership of the ITI Infotech Network is free.
