Conference recordings
Buy recordings of sessions from the ITI Conference 2024.
The ITI Conference is the biggest event in the UK translation and interpreting calendar, attracting delegates from all over the world. We know how disappointing it can be to miss out on a key event like this and we've heard from many members and non-members who wished they'd been able to attend. The good news is you don't have to miss out any more!
The conference featured 35 engaging sessions and over 40 expert speakers, all focusing on the theme "New world, new work." The sessions explored what the future of translation and interpreting might hold and how we need to adapt and evolve to make sure it remains a vibrant and thriving sector. By purchase recordings of the sessions, now you too can benefit from all the valuable insights and expertise from the event.
If you attended the ITI Conference 2024 you do not need to pay for any sessions! Just log back into Canapii to watch the recordings.
Once purchased, you can watch the recordings via our conference app until the 1 June 2025.
What delegates said about the conference
Every speaker was engaging and informative. I especially loved... Gabriela Ortiz on media accessibility and getting validation from users and Lesley Taylor on her great work subtitling for women's football.

We are kicking off Day 2 with a massive amount of desecrating laughter as Tim Gutteridge shows off his impressive skills at translating swearwords into English while explaining the deconstruction process and creative steps he follows to come up with the perfect solution.
Carlos la Orden Tovar
Presentations highlights were valuable insights into managing cognitive load from Mariana Teixeira and a wonderful glimpse into the history of translator training in Scotland.

My top picks: Luke James MA AITI’ presentation on localising extended reality – as a video games translator I found that there are a lot of similarities between XR localisation and game localisation. I'm excited to see what the future will bring for this technology! Callum Walker, JC Penet and Joseph Lambert's summary of their research about freelance translator's perspectives on the current state of our industry.
