The ITI Neurodiversity Network, aims to harness the unique strengths and diverse perspectives of individuals with neurological differences. During this webinar you will discover the work and progress the Network has made, and what they hope to achieve in the future. 

This session will promote awareness and understanding of neurodiversity and neurodivergence. Participants will:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of neurodiversity, including various neurological differences such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and others
  • Learn to identify and appreciate the strengths that neurodivergent individuals bring to translation work
  • Develop skills to advocate for neurodiversity within the translation industry, challenging stereotypes and fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment
  • Gain insights on how to raise awareness about the contributions and capabilities of neurodivergent individuals, promoting a more understanding and accepting culture within translation organisations.

There will also be an introduction to neurodivergent language and identity.
