This self-paced, online course will teach you a wealth of skills, such as managing clients, handling your finances and developing your professionalism, so you can gain the essential knowledge you need to establish yourself as a successful professional translator. The course includes a variety of teaching techniques and includes regular self-assessments, action plans and checklists to ensure that you come away with actionable steps to implement straightaway. It is self-paced so you can work through it at a speed that suits you.
Each of the seven modules takes approximately 45 minutes to work through - 5¼ hours of content in total. However, there are also actions that we encourage you to take and links to supplementary reading and videos, so the total amount of time you spend depends very much on how much you want to get out of the course.
